After a quiet period on our blogsite, I'm back writing to you about ONE WAY's latest Nordic Walking poles.
ONE WAY has made its way up to the top in manufacturing cross country ski poles and Nordic Walking poles. What I like particularly with them, is their sense for fashion and design.
When you look at trekking poles or Nordic Walking poles out there, one will find, most of them come in single colours, mostly black or grey - simply boring!
ONE WAY has from the start tried to be different; using poles is not just for fitness, those poles become a statement. Their marketing photos are daring - well, it's what else would you expect from a Scandinavian, or more precisely Finnish company.
It's not just the look that makes ONE WAY poles stand out from the crowd; it's also the quality that makes them some of the most used poles in the cross country circuit.
The 2010 model poles come in magenta and marlin blue - of course with the click point strap and with the extra light weight shaft.

ONE WAY Poles are fantastic poles. And what I like best about them is the fact that like SWIX and EXEL, they too are committed to the simple fact that one-piece poles are safer, lighter and much more durable than cheap twist-lock and flip-lock adjustable length/telescoping/collapsible poles.
The straps on the ONE WAY Poles are super comfortable and effect - patented by the Salomon Ski Company (same quality strap patent as used by SWIX and EXEL).
ONE WAY is definitely the "fashion" pole of Scandinavia - take a look at some of their catalogs a few years back.
My only issue with the ONE WAY poles is that like the Gymstick poles they utilize a different ferrule (metal tip) and rubber tip configuration than that used by SWIX, EXEL and LEKI. Our experience with the ONE WAY and GYMSTICK poles was that their rubber tips didn't stay on as well or last as long.
One-piece poles are far superior to adjustables and that is the most important thing.
